PhD Student at CU-Boulder | Safe AI for Robotics | CAIRO Lab
Hi! 👋
I’m a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado Boulder, advised by Dr. Brad Hayes in the CAIRO Lab. My research focuses on safe AI for robotics — building intelligent systems that are reliable, trustworthy, and capable of operating alongside humans.
I completed my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering also at CU Boulder, where I worked on projects spanning ROS2-based autonomous controls, machine learning for healthcare applications, and reinforcement learning for decision-making under uncertainty. Prior to that, I worked in system verification and validation at APTIV, focusing on L2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. I hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
I enjoy learning about AI, working on personal projects, and expanding my understanding of the CS world. In my free time, I like to go to the gym and spend time with my family and friends.
